Per the Diocese… Each Bishop sets the age requirement for receiving Confirmation in their Diocese. In the Diocese of San Bernardino, PER BISHOP BARNES, teens must be AT LEAST SIXTEEN YEARS OLD. Therefore, per the Diocese, the Confirmation candidates • Must be age 16 by APRIL 1 of the year of Confirmation. (2022)

• Complete Service Hours
Confirmation Prep–Year 1 - To register in Con1, participants must be age 15 by April 1, 2022 or above, and have already received the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation (Penance) and Eucharist (First Communion). Called to Live the Gospel: challenges and guides the teen to pursue lives that are holy, healthy and happy; morality; The Church: Summarizes the church’s central beliefs, moral vision, and communal worship. The Challenge of Discipleship: Role of the Holy Spirit in living the Christian life CLASSES MEET EVERY OTHER WEEK

If your teen is attending a Catholic High School & will be age 15 by Apr 1, 2022

1. Attend ONE of the TRACK/5 sessions
2. Attend Virtus Safety Lesson
3. Attend Unity Nights
(2) RETREAT
1. Attend St Anthony’s Con 1 weekend retreat
(3) SERVICE Complete Service Hours
5 hours Parish Service
5 hours Community Service
3 Fellowship Events (Youth Ministry)
Note: Catholic High School teens must attend all Confirmation 2 sessions next year since the curriculum is directed toward the immediate preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation.
Con 2/Grades 10 thru 12: Confirmation Preparation YEAR TWO
Participants must be Age 16 by April 1, 2022 and have completed Confirmation 1. Immediate Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Candidates learn about the Holy Spirit and the critical role of the Holy Spirit in the Church today.
