Dear Bridges to Home Ministry Friends:

Do you pause in wonder sometimes at how and why things happen? Frequently it is beyond our understanding and logic.  These are examples of God's way vs. our way.  Many stories in the Bible contain instances where God not only chose people to carry out His plan but fully equipped them for the mission. He still does that today as is apparent through the great success of this ministry. He has a plan to assist many of His people who are in need, and He picks each and every one of you and me to carry out His plan.   And move after move, He has fully equipped us with the faith, the funds, the material goods, safety in our travels, compassion in our hearts, and the prayers of a multitude of you.   We at Bridges to Home have pledged our unyielding faith in the power of the Holy Spirit, and we seek the will of God before all else.  His plan is perfect and always will be.     

And so, we move forward in the mission designed by the Father by serving Sharma and her 4 children in Fontana on Saturday September 7th, and Scott living in Desert Hot Springs on Thursday, September 12th. Scott is a veteran of the Coast Guard.  He was an officer on a 375-foot vessel that thwarted many drug runs in South America.  He shared stories of the excitement of boarding ships and seizing illegal cargo in the name of the United States Coast Guard.  He was on active duty when 9/11 occurred and was proud to protect his country at that most horrific time.

Grateful appreciation is sent out to Pam, the Upland Foothill Kiwanis, and 2 anonymous donors for blessing Sharma with appliances and household items for her and her 4 children, and to the Ontario Elks Lodge #1419 for fully supporting Scott's move.  May you always know blessings beyond measure for your generostiy and compassion.
