Dear St. Anthony Bridges to Home Friends:
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” … For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9–10
Grace is when God gives us what we do not deserve. Mercy is when God does not give us what we deserve. Blessings are when he is generous with both.
The Bible abounds in verses that affirm what grace is and how its power moves in our lives. It is everything we need to live a holy life. It is “God's life, power, and righteousness given to us by unmerited favor.” God’s grace working in us effects change in our hearts. Through God's grace we are forgiven and our thinking is transformed. Our minds and hearts are renewed, and our lives become what God desires for His children. Let us read some of the verses that fill us with hope and renew our faith in the ever-present availability and sufficiency of God’s grace.
“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.” 1 Corinthians 15:10
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8
St. Anthony Bridges to Home feels the infusion of this grace at every step. Operating this ministry takes a lot of effort and time and commitment. Without God’s grace giving us strength and wisdom and fortitude to forge forward each day onto the path the Holy Spirit wills for us, we would grow tired and the challenges would be too great for us to surmount. We rededicate ourselves to the Holy Spirit at every turn, and know He will always fill us with God’s abundant grace to accomplish the next task. And the tasks ahead are 4 moves for Christopher, Orlando & his wife and their 4 children, Anthony and his wife and son, and Tatiana and her 2 children. Please enjoy pictures from previous moves and ponder how the Holy Spirit is bidding you to join Him into the spirit of this ministry.
Max & Marilyn, Annie, Olivia and family, Pam, Barbara M., Jenny, Christine, Pat F., Pat K., Kay & Gary, Bill & Carol, and Barbara & Dan have stepped out in faith by pledging the blessings given to them to share with those in need. We pray that you will experience the abundance of God’s graces and your lives are forever greatly blessed.
“Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness”. 2 Peter 1-3
Please see the email for details and discern what role you are being called to enter into with regard to this ministry. Blessings for a wonderful week ahead!
