St. Anthony Ladies Guild is one of the original ministries of the parish. All ladies of the parish are considered members of the Ladies Guild and are welcome at our meetings.
The main goal of the Ladies Guild is to utilize the talents and expertise of the membership in support of the parish and to build camarderie between all of the Church ministries.
The Ladies Guild sponsors various social activities troughout the year to bring members of the parish together in fellowship and to support other ministries. Plans are in process for an Autumn Leaf Tea in October 2022, and an Italian Night in Febriary 2023. We hope to bring the Cake Sale/Craft Show back in 2023.
Another one of our special events is hosting the luncheons after the Anointing Masses. If a funeral reception is in the hall, our ladies help with table setting, serving and accepting deliveries to aid the family in a difficult time.
Donations have been made as follows: Cantor's stand during the Church renovation, Religious Education, Vacation Bible School, Bridges to Home, Bells for the Chapel, Easter gift cards for needy families, Our Lady Queen of Palestine, Procession of Fatima, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Arrowhead Hospital with neworn and premature baby clothes and accessories, Youth Steubenville Project, and special cameras during the pandemic.
Bi-monthly breakfast meetings are held from September to May in the parish hall. Notices are always in the bulletin, on the slides and announced at Mass. The breakfasts are a social gathering following the 8:30am Mass with a short busniess meeting to discuss upcoming events.
