All of the moments in our lives are stepping stones that progressively lead us on the path designed for us. Sometimes we hesitate to move because it is safe and comfortable right where we are. God, knowing we can sometimes only handle one step at a time, will beckon us in some special way to take the next step, and slowly we will follow Him on the path that is our life.
Sometimes we are aware of the stepping stones and sometimes we are not. Sometimes the stepping stones are people who guide us, encourage us, and advise us on to the next step. Sometimes opportunities are presented to us that might not seem like stepping stones, but when we accept them, they lead us in a direction we never thought we would go. (Such as how I was offered an “opportunity” by Dale years ago and find myself here today. ) Sometimes stepping stones are benevolence and kindness we are shown. Sometimes they are difficult and unpleasant incidents that channel us toward a unique destination. You have, no doubt, been a stepping stone for someone without even knowing it.
In the ministry of St. Anthony Bridges to Home, you are a stepping stone for the many referrals we receive, and, in this way, you ease the next step of the journey they are on. The more “stones” who step forward, the easier their path, and the more enhanced your path will be as well.

Lord, let me do my part in taking your truth to the world. Help me start where I am, have no fear, and do what I can to communicate Your life-changing love.
Those of you who offer financial support to the ministry feel the truth in this prayer. You offer “your part” to spread the love of Christ: Barbara S., Pam, Max & Marilyn, Bob M., Christine, Barbara M., and 2 anonymous donors of grocery gift cards.
Please read the email for details on 3 scheduled opportunities for you to step onto the stones offered to you to share Christ’s love and progress forward on your life path.
If you see small opportunities, take them. Each one could be a stepping stone to something bigger. Trisha Yearwood
